Chilli & Lime Fava Beans 120g


Grown and roasted in the UK these chilli and lime fava beans are great served with a cold drink or cuppa. We pack them from fresh stock from a British company.

They don’t use palm fat because that is linked to destruction of rain forests. Not something that’s healthy for us. Our chilli and lime fava beans are roasted in locally grown rapeseed oil, an oil that is suitable for cooking at high temperatures. Which they do, making these bean crisps super-crispy!

We have others in the range: Salted fava beans, salt and vinegar fava and the superb, low calorie and full of fibre smoky paprika peas.

One thing though, about fava beans, is that they are the bean that is highest on the G.I. which means they are not suitable for diabetics.

But do serve those fortunate enough to not have a dodgy pancreas with these roasted beans and peas. They are rather splendid, and all have Sunshine Inside!




High on the G.I. they are moderately high in salt.


Fava (Broad Beans 84%), Rapeseed oil, Salt, RIce Flour, SUgar, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, SPices (Cayenne, coriander, black pepper, Yeast Extract, Parsley, Lime Oil).

How to cook

Great as a snack served with a cool glass of wine, beer or a fresh cuppa.

An important note about Allergens

While we do everything we can to avoid cross contamination, all Eat Wholefood branded products are packed and stored in an area which has the following allergens: sesame, soya, nuts, peanuts, wheat, celery seeds and mustard. So, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that Eat Wholefood branded products contain none of these allergens.
