Coriander seed blends beautifully with most other spices – softening harsh flavours, (double the quantity of coriander to the over-used spice eg. 2 teaspoons of coriander to 1 teaspoon of clove.) Slightly crushed, the coriander seed is great for stir-fries. Used whole, it adds a broad flavour to marinaded dishes, broadening the flavour of fruit pies.
