Savory has a herby, peppery taste which holds up to long periods of cooking. I like to slow cook lentils & beans with it, as their peppery flavours combine well. Egg dishes work well when savoury is added, as do bread crumbs for coating, & stuffings. Sprinkle savoury on roast poultry & pork before cooking. Include it in homemade meatloaf & sausages!
