The flavour of vanilla is universal: Whether you put them in sugar, cakes, biscuits, yogurt or smoothies, vanilla adds a mellow smoothness. I use mine combined with carob powder.

How to cook
Store in caster sugar. boil in milk for custard, or poach with fruit. after cooking remove, wash, dry and return to sugar. Use the sugar for cakes as the vanilla will add flavour.
