The organic dried turmeric root is great quality. It has been chopped into chunks to make it easier for making tea. I use a thermos flask and put the chunks in with boiled water. This slowly infuses the curcumin, the active ingredient renowned for its health benefits. Otherwise, it’s best to simmer the root, a cup and a half of water per serving, for 5 mins on low and with the lid on.
