I regard organic Puy lentil as being the most flavoursome of lentils. I eat them cooked in salads, soups and stews as well as sprouting them all year round.
They are originally from Puy in France. This variety is also known as French green lentils.
They are ideal for using as an organic puy lentil salad (find a recipe here), easy to cook and full of flavour. They’re great to cook and store in the fridge for a healthy lunchbox.
