A kilo of great tasting, nourishing lentils will serve about 12 people as a dhal. Simply mix 1 cup of lentils with 3 cups of water, 1 dessertspoon of dried onions, 2 teaspoon of medium curry powder with a pinch of asafoetida and 2 teaspoons of stock, bring to the boil then simmer for 12 minutes for a delicious dhal. Our lentils will always be freshly packed and great quality.

How to cook
For a perfect dhal. Mix 1 cup lentils to 2 cups water, add 1 tsp. Curry powder & 1 tbsp dried onion flakes, ½ tsp each of celery salt & garlic granules. Add one bay leaf & cook with the lid on on a low heat, stirring occasionally for 13 mins. .
