Our non-gmo, organic soya beans are complete a source of complete proteins.
They do take a lot longer to cook than other beans so I advise using a pressure cooker if you want to eat them whole in salads, soups or stews.
If you want to make your own soya milk from organic soya beans, you grind the beans after soaking, then cook the pulp. The cooking time for rich and smooth milk is only 20 minutes or so. It is well worth experimenting with this process as the end result is far tastier than shop-bought bean juice.
There are some good recipes here. It’s a labour of love, but it can be very economical, not to say save on waste.
