We get these organic fresh wheat berries from Redbournbury farm. We are proud to support local trade and feel this is the way forward for business. Spelt is an ancient wheat. Cultivated since ancient times this grain has not been hybradised and so has side-stepped modern farming and retained its nutritious qualities. This may be suitable for those on a low gluten diet. Use for casseroles and soups, or grind yourself to make beautiful flour for general kitchen use.
