For those who like their porridge thick and rich pinhead/steel cut oatmeal is the one.
The pinhead/steel cut oatmeal contains the husk of the groat which contains a lot of vitamin E. When properly cooked, the wholegrain falls apart to release its warming wholesomeness. Combine with dried or fresh fruit and cinnamon or nutmeg even salt, if you are Scottish and you fancy savoury.
